This ban was given to SuperMarioBrosS (me) exactly one year ago. This post is here to represent the "anniversary" of the ban (if you can call it one). I got this ban at March 18th, 2009, and the reason of ban is listed above.
Both this and the SMBS account have their BBS posting privileges, although they haven't been constantly used for months (so they haven't been banned for a long time). The SMBS account is actually invincible to BBS bans from the mods, FYI.
You know, I don't think you realize how better the BBS has gotten. Back in '08 you'd get banned for 7 days for posting in a spam thread. And you already know how corrupt BigBadRon was. The mods used to lock threads just because they could. Hell, I got bans from poxpower a couple times because I reviewed 0 on some of his flashes. The only reason the mods aren't really strict is because they were actually abusing their power. It's definitely not the best forum, but it doesn't need to be deleted.
And I live pretty far from them. About 8 hours from Pennsylvania.

I agree with you for the most part where all of that was abusing power, but still the mods COULD tighten up a little bit. Well the spam thread one is kind of borderline...
But with mods locking topics because they feel like it makes it hard for a shitty topic like masturbation go by, so it's kind of a good thing to a degree. Still...
There needs to be a middle ground, not BAN EVERYTHING or SPAM THE BBS.
Also I rarely see a topic about sex in like 2001-2006. Topics need to improve, and posting quality; not just mods.
Or maybe the BBS was too immature for my liking in the first place.

It says "EXPIRES", not "given".
The ban was given at 3/18/09, but doesn't end until 3/19/09 at 12:00 AM.
So it has been one year since Zerok gave me that ban.
FYI I live fairly close to Tom and Wade. Only 30 minutes from here to one of their houses.
