You know what you should probably do? As insurance in case if the guide incident happens again, you should buy a separate hard drive; one of those portable ones with like a lot of space, and every time you make a new page for the guide, immediately save it as a separate document on that hard drive, in case you need it later.
I agree with you. I actually am doing that where I save the guide content AND the pictures, and then emailing them to myself (so I can open my email inbox and withdraw the guides & pics, and then put them back up).
