1. A fast internet connection. Some parts can range from 500 KB (0.5 MB) 15 MB in HTML coding, so a fast internet will help. If you have slow internet, I suggest you skip the interactive guides.
To give a better view: The news post text can be at most 16 KB, the image attached can be 150 KB at most. Add other coding (like the top site navigation bar), images, CSS (the fancy site layout), Javascript, and ads and it can total up to like 500 KB.
If you want to test your internet and computer to see if your internet can handle an interactive guides, pick one of the 16 spam news posts and see if you can load them 100%.
2. A fast computer
This is mostly needed in the interactive guides where the page is very, very, VERY, VERY long, so jump over the interactive guides if you have a slow computer for your computer will lag like hell.
3. Good English
If you're not so good with English, you may have a little trouble understanding what's written in the news post. For the most part it is written in simple English for the people whom are not good at English, although complex vocabulary can rise.
Use Google Translate (online translators are almost never good as knowing the language in your head, but it's better than nothing) to translate stuff or the whole guide that you don't understsnd.
If Spanish is your native language then I may be able to help you out myself since I know (some) Spanish. However, I'm not fluent, so I still may make errors.
[Credit to Basset for helping me write that Spanish sentence out.]
4. Enthusiasm of learning
You're not going to get anything out of this if you don't have the enthusiasm to learn.
5. Good behavior
This only applies if you are going to post a comment in a guide post.
6. Posting Privileges
Everyone on NG begins with these, and if you break the rules or be an asshole you can be banned temporarily/permanently (at my discretion).
That's all the things you need to use this guide. If you lack some of these, there are ways to get around them:
1. No Fast Internet
If you don't have fast internet, avoid the interactive guides AT ALL COSTS! It may crash your whole computer as its worst case scenario.
If you would like to test and see if you can handle the interactive guides, pick one of the 16 spam news posts and see if you can successfully load them. If you can, then you're good with the interactive guides. I suggest you save and close all other programs before attempting to load the spam posts to prevent loss of work.
2. No fast computer
The guide may lag a bit, but it won't be a huge problem. However, if you stumble upon an interactive guide, your computer may completely freeze and crash. Again, close all other programs and save your work to prevent loss of any data and to free up as much RAM as possible on your computer.
3. Poor English
Speak (or should I say write) English to your best knowledge, and even if it's not perfect we'll try to understand what you wrote, and even help you become better in English.
Use Google Translate to translate guides into your native language (if it's in the list of translations) to understand the content.
4. No Enthusiasm of learning
Don't bother going on any further, because you will have wasted your time browsing through the guides.
5. Bad behavior
Save yourself from being banned by not at all posting to the guides unless extremely necessary.
6. No Posting Privileges
It's your fault for being banned.
